Thanks for this series. Your knowledge and advice are in perfect alignment with what I need right now. I'm hoping to format my book myself. I used Scrivener for my first book, but am hoping to find an easier, more intuitive tool. I was going to look into Vellum, but noticed you recommend it for fiction. Are there downsides to using it for non-fiction? (Feel free to point me to a podcast episode if you've already covered this...I may have missed it. I fell behind over the holidays!) Thanks so much!
In addition to my other note: I'm not familiar with some of the newer Vellum features, but this podcast covered it (not my show, but a well-known show): https://selfpublishingformula.com/episode-426/
Will your book have a lot of special elements or photos? It doesn't really have the capability for things that are too fancy (charts, graphs, indexes). Many nonfiction books are simpler than that and doesn't have those features. You might appreciate this comparison: https://kindlepreneur.com/atticus-vs-vellum/
